BASSTURBO SAMPLE LIBRARY KIT LAYOUT.
EACH KIT UTILIZES A FIRST OCTAVE COMP SET.
Boomin' in my jeep...
While making this VSTi - I thought "Hey people are going to love unpacking this, loading an instance, and romping out to 100 or so of our new DUBturbo4 unreleased PhatCap Bass Sample Collection sounds..."
Sure enough, compiled, tested, and they shake the s#!t out of my studio!
Then I thought, "wouldn't it be cool to assign a quick 10 pad drum kit at the beggining of each of these samplesets?"...
People could use them as a quick side kit to test out patterns and complimentary sounds to the bass tones. GREAT MOVE (and screw a sidekit, I basically just upgraded this to a beatmaker with unreleased sounds :)) - AAAND all the drums are lined up the same so if you make a pattern and change kits = your drums are all laid where they should be - instantly get new flavors from your midi patterns.
After about 30 or so kits, I started thinking
"nawww it can't just be tons of our new drum kits, let's put in some ethnic stuff, some effects, blips, sirens, voxes, risers, falls, explosions... I'm sitting on 4,000 new sounds for DUBturbo4, let's bless them with this first premium VSTi".
As you go through the library you'll see a
really well thought out matrix for the sounds and sound types.
I've prechosen my favorite 10 or so and lined them up first for those that want instant fat, thick, dirty, border-redlined modern bass - the rest of the kits don't lack in any way though, we polished EVERYTHING for this VSTi.
Load up 2-3 instances of BASSturbo and you'll get a very fast and efficient way of testing out new combo's of sounds. Drums, bass, instruments (we give you some piano/bell/synth/etc) - and come to market with unique beats/compositions ready to shake up any audience every time.
